Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and resourceful Senior Regional Marketing Manager to join a leading global cloud platform for transparent reporting. This is a 12-month contract role with the potential for extension. The position is fully remote, and candidates can be based in Canada. In this role, you will be a critical conduit between marketing and sales, deploying demand generation programs that drive revenue growth through new logo acquisition and customer expansion.

Description

As the Senior Regional Marketing Manager, you will focus on the execution and optimization of marketing programs across the Canadian region (an emerging market), with potential future support for other growth regions like LATAM. You will act as a strategic thinker who can lay the operational foundation for projects and see them through to completion. This role requires a strong background in B2B SaaS and the ability to work closely with vendor agencies and internal sales teams to deliver high-impact results. You will be responsible for navigating the Canadian public sector landscape and ensuring that marketing initiatives are tailored to local needs while remaining scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Program Delivery & Execution: Deliver cohesive regional marketing programs, including virtual and in-person events, paid media, social media, and partner co-marketing.
  • Sales & Partner Alignment: Work closely with Sales, Inside Sales, and Partner teams to deliver customized pipeline generation programs and joint marketing strategies.
  • Experiential Marketing & Events: Manage localized execution of events, sponsorships, breakfast meetings, user groups, and booth spaces, providing performance analysis and insights to leadership.
  • Stakeholder & Agency Management: Serve as the primary conduit between agency partners and the organization; collaborate with the Regional Marketing Director to gain buy-in for the marketing roadmap.
  • Budget & ROI Tracking: Manage the regional marketing budget and develop ROI measurements for demand generation programs to report results to leadership.
  • Lifecycle Marketing: Create and monitor comprehensive follow-up strategies for campaigns using a "no lead left behind" framework to manage the lead lifecycle end-to-end.
  • Strategic Optimization: Implement regional marketing plans in alignment with global strategy while identifying opportunities to incorporate global brand programs for regional scalability.

Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years of marketing experience with a specific focus on regional, field, and demand generation marketing.
  • Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates with experience in a B2B SaaS or software company environment.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Canadian market is a must; knowledge of the Canadian Public Sector landscape is a high priority.
  • Event Management Expertise: Proven experience managing various event types, from small partner breakfasts to larger booth spaces and sponsorships.
  • Analytical Skills: A track record of using hard metrics to demonstrate impact on new opportunity creation and pipeline velocity.
  • Project Management: Strong ability to manage multiple event and campaign timelines simultaneously.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with marketing automation, web analytics, and business intelligence tools.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant career experience.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 20% for onsite event needs.
  • Nice-to-Have: Proficiency or business-level fluency in French; experience working with large global advisory and consulting firms.
