About the role
Join our client’s team as an Associate Director of Marketing and help lead and scale a global, fast-moving marketing function within the travel and hospitality industry. The company operates in the short-term rental space, delivering tech-enabled, premium group travel experiences across multiple destinations, combining hospitality, real estate, and technology.
You will own and help orchestrate a distributed marketing organization spanning brand, creative, and growth, ensuring alignment between storytelling, channel performance, and revenue outcomes.
Responsibilities
Marketing Leadership & Team Management
- Lead day-to-day execution across brand, creative (content, photography, social), and growth (performance, SEO, lifecycle, CRM)
- Manage a globally distributed team of designers, copywriters, photographers, performance marketers, and agency partners
Brand Strategy & Identity
- Own brand voice, visual identity, and storytelling across all guest and homeowner touchpoints
- Ensure consistency across a premium, experience-driven hospitality brand
Social Media & Content Strategy
- Drive strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Ensure social channels reflect aspirational travel experiences and drive engagement
Channel Distribution Marketing
- Manage marketing execution across 60+ OTAs (Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, etc.)
- Align listings, content, and merchandising with performance goals

Performance Marketing Oversight
- Oversee paid social, paid search, programmatic, affiliate, and attribution strategies

- Lead seasonal campaigns, market launches, property onboarding initiatives, and hospitality portfolio activations
Content & Creative Production Systems
- Build scalable systems for photography, editing, and content deployment across a large property portfolio
Operations, Budget & Reporting
- Manage budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting to senior leadership
- Ensure marketing efficiency and alignment with business KPIs
AI-Driven Marketing Operations
- Implement AI-native workflows across content creation, media buying, analytics, and operational efficiency
- Leverage tools like ChatGPT and Claude to increase speed and scale
