Engineering Technologist 1 ($87,800 - $143,000)
The successful candidate will possess:
- Basic technical knowledge and ability to conduct simple analyses in support of OT assurance activities.

In addition to the skills of the Engineering Technologist 1, the Engineering Technologist 2 will be required to possess:

- History of applying a working knowledge of the principles and theories of engineering, mathematics and science to solve routine technical problems in area of discipline.
- Comfort performing computer-related activities, such as preparing input data.
- Experience working on small project teams.

Education/Experience at Level 2: Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Science, Math or related degree and 5 years of directly related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience: Exposure to the technical or operational details of product realization processes and operational technology (OT).
- Programming: Knowledge of Python.
- Certification: INCOSE, or similar, certification in Systems Engineering principles.
- Experience: Ability to understand working in a Weapon or High Hazard manufacturing environment and knowledge of production process workflows and outward planning.
- Nature of Work: Some experience within the DOE/NNSA and National Security Enterprise sites and complexes.
- Program Requirements: Knowledge of NNSA SD 452.4-1 or other subversion and vulnerability assessment approaches.
- Clearances: Active Q & SCI clearances or DOD Top Secret clearances.

Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory. If an employee has not served the time required, they may only apply for Laboratory jobs with the documented approval of their Division Leader. The position commitment for this position is 1 year.
