Senior Lead Robotics and Computer Vision Engineer

EUMOTORS is a rapidly scaling European manufacturer of high-performance BLDC motors for drones and defense applications.

We’re building one of the most advanced automated motor production lines in Europe — combining robotics, AI-driven computer vision, and real-time control systems.

This is not maintenance work.

This is building a smart factory from the ground up.

We’re looking for a Senior / Lead Engineer who can own robotics and vision systems end-to-end — from architecture to deployment on the production floor.

You will lead the design and scaling of automation systems based on:

• Dobot (CR / MG400 / M1 Pro) and similar robotic arms
• ROS 2-based control systems
• NVIDIA Jetson-powered vision pipelines

This role is hands-on + strategic — you build, you lead, you ship.

🤖 Own Robotics Integration

• Design and deploy robotic assembly cells (pick & place, QA, precision handling)
• Program and optimize Dobot / UR / ABB / Fanuc robots for high-throughput production
• Develop custom end-effectors, calibration workflows, and motion strategies

🧠 Lead Computer Vision Systems

• Build real-time inspection and alignment systems (defect detection, traceability)
• Deploy models on Jetson Orin/Xavier using TensorRT / OpenCV / YOLO
• Implement closed-loop vision-guided robotics

⚙️ Architect Automation Systems

• Design scalable ROS 2-based architecture across multiple robotic cells
• Integrate PLCs, sensors, conveyors, and MES systems
• Ensure reliability for 24/7 production environments

📈 Drive Performance & Scale

• Optimize cycle times, yield, and system uptime
• Lead technical decisions and mentor junior engineers
• Build systems that scale from prototype → thousands of units/month

✅ 5–10+ years in robotics / automation in manufacturing

✅ Strong experience with Dobot or similar robots (UR, ABB, Fanuc, KUKA)

✅ Deep expertise in ROS / ROS 2 in production environments

✅ Hands-on with computer vision on edge devices (Jetson, CUDA, TensorRT)

✅ Strong coding skills in C++ and Python

✅ Solid understanding of kinematics, motion control, and real-time systems

✅ Proven ability to build and deploy real systems — not just prototypes

✅ Strong communication skills and fluent English

⭐ Experience with precision manufacturing / small-part assembly

⭐ Knowledge of PLC systems (Siemens / Allen-Bradley)

⭐ Familiarity with YOLOv8, Detectron2, or custom CV pipelines

⭐ Experience scaling automation to high-volume production
