We are looking for a System Support Engineer who is strong in Excel data management, MySQL database operations, and IT infrastructure including networking, VoIP, and system support. This is an onsite role in Vientiane, Laos with a competitive package including relocation support.

What You Will Do

Data & Reporting

• Build and maintain complex Excel workbooks — pivot tables, dashboards, and automated reports for management and department heads
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from MySQL databases into Excel for analysis and reporting
• Write and optimize MySQL queries — SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, sub-queries, stored procedures
• Perform data crunching, reconciliation, and quality checks across multiple data sources
• Automate repetitive reporting tasks using Excel VBA macros
• Manage and clean large-scale Excel-based data systems used across the organization

IT System Support

• Provide onsite L1/L2 IT support to 600+ staff across desktop, software, and server environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at user and server level
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure — routing, switching, firewall, and WiFi
• Support and maintain the PBX VoIP phone system
• Perform system analysis and recommend improvements to IT infrastructure and data systems
• Coordinate with vendors and internal application teams on issue resolution

Must Have

• Advanced Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, complex formulas,data validation, conditional formatting, charting
• Excel VBA / Macro development for task automation
• MySQL: queries, joins, stored procedures, data exports, and working with large datasets
• Networking: routing, switching, firewall configuration, WiFi management
• L1/L2 IT support experience — desktop and server
• 3–5 years experience in an IT support or data analyst role
• Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with PBX / Asterisk VoIP systems
• Linux server administration (Ubuntu / CentOS)
