Senior AI & Cloud Architect

About the Role

We are looking for a senior AI & Cloud Architect to design, build, and scale production-grade platforms across AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid/on-prem environments. This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role spanning the full lifecycle – from early architecture and presales through production delivery and steady-state operations, with a strong focus on AI/ML solutions that create real business value.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud landing zones, Kubernetes-based platforms, and IaC/GitOps-driven environments.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML solutions including LLMs, RAG architectures, vector search, and inference platforms.
• Build and scale data and streaming systems for real-time and high-throughput workloads.
• Own CI/CD pipelines, observability standards, and SLO/SLI frameworks across environments.
• Ensure security, compliance, and policy-as-code practices are embedded across all platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across pre-sales, architecture, and engineering; mentor teams and define reference architectures.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience building production-grade systems.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an AI Engineer or in AI-focused platform development.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes and container ecosystems.
• Backend development in a strongly typed language (Go, Rust, Scala, or similar).
• Experience with distributed systems and event streaming (Apache Kafka or similar).
• Practical knowledge of LLMs, NLP, RAG, and embedding models.
• Proficiency with IaC tooling (Terraform, Helm) and GitOps practices.
• One or more relevant certifications required (e.g., CKA, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, NVIDIA AI certifications, Confluent Certified Developer).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MLOps, model lifecycle management, and responsible AI practices.
• Familiarity with graph databases (Neo4j, AWS Neptune).
• Exposure to GPU workloads, AI inference optimization, and regulated environments (HIPAA, FIPS).
• Background in edge computing, real-time media, or video analytics platforms.
