Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Network /Desktop support Specialist, to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring systems run smoothly, and resolving Microsoft 365 technical issues. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and a passion for technology.
This is a hybrid role - need to be able to drive to Hickory, NC or relocate. There is relocation available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide support for end-users regarding hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical problems efficiently.
- System Administration: Maintain and monitor the company's network systems, servers, and other IT infrastructure. Ensure up time and reliability of all systems.
- Security Management: Implement and manage security protocols, firewalls, and backup systems to ensure the security of organizational data and IT assets.
- Software Installation & Updates: Install and configure software, operating systems, and applications. Ensure all software is updated and patched to maintain security and functionality.
- Network Management: Administer and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks. Ensure seamless communication between devices and systems.
- User Management: Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within the organization’s network systems. Assist with password recovery and user authentication.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all IT procedures, policies, and system configurations. Provide regular reports on health systems, incidents, and resolutions.
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure technology is aligned with organizational needs and goals. Assist in the selection and implementation of new IT solutions.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5 years of experience in an IT support systems administration and Microsoft 365
- Strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and hardware.
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Occasional Travel site to site locally
