About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer specializing in WordPress and Shopify to join our dynamic team. This full-time, remote position is based in India and offers an immediate start. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a keen eye for performance optimization, and a passion for delivering high-quality websites that align with SEO best practices.

You will play a critical role in building, customizing, and maintaining websites for our diverse client portfolio. Your expertise will ensure that each website not only looks great but also performs optimally, ranks well on search engines, and provides an excellent user experience. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have at least 4+ years of experience in front-end development with a focus on WordPress and Shopify platforms. A strong command of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with Liquid (Shopify) and PHP (WordPress) are essential. Candidates should demonstrate proven experience in implementing technical SEO strategies, structured data, and website performance enhancements.

Additional qualifications include a solid understanding of Core Web Vitals, website speed optimization, responsive design principles, and CMS management. Experience with analytics setup, website migrations, and CMS optimization is highly desirable. The ability to balance design aesthetics with UX, performance, and SEO requirements is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Website Development & Customization
• Build, customize, and optimize WordPress websites and Shopify themes utilizing HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and Liquid.
• Develop responsive product, service, collection, landing, and blog pages tailored for SEO and conversions.
• Implement custom functionalities through plugins, custom fields, APIs, metafields, and third-party integrations.

• Create scalable, reusable code structures ensuring maintainability and ease of updates.
• Adhere to clean code standards, accessibility, and responsive design best practices.
• Performance & Speed Optimization
• Enhance Core Web Vitals by optimizing assets, lazy-loading images, and minimizing render-blocking scripts.
• Minify CSS/JS files, compress media assets, and implement caching strategies for faster load times.
• Manage CDN integrations (e.g., Cloudflare) to improve website delivery speed.
• Conduct regular performance audits to maintain speed and UX benchmarks.
• Technical SEO Implementation
• Create SEO-friendly site structures with appropriate meta tags, schema markup, and internal linking.
• Implement structured data for products, reviews, FAQs, breadcrumbs, and articles.
• Resolve crawl errors, canonical issues, and indexation gaps across platforms.
• Ensure URLs, redirects, and XML sitemaps follow SEO best practices, especially during site migrations.
• Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
• Collaborate with design and SEO teams to A/B test landing pages and templates.
• Implement CRO features such as sticky CTAs, quick add-to-cart options, and exit-intent popups.
