About The Role

As a Software Developer at Starapple, you will become an integral part of a small, dedicated development team working on diverse projects for high-profile clients. You will engage in a Scrum-based workflow, participating in bi-weekly sprints and scrums to plan, execute, and review work. Your responsibilities will include developing custom WordPress plugins, integrating various systems through bespoke APIs, and ensuring the performance and security of high-traffic websites. The role offers significant responsibility early on, providing opportunities to influence project direction and develop innovative solutions. The team operates in a fully remote setting, communicating daily via Slack and participating in virtual stand-up meetings. The company values results over fixed working hours, granting you the flexibility to determine your schedule while maintaining accountability for project deliverables. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency in WordPress development, including creating custom plugins.

• Knowledge of Symfony framework is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
