🔎 What we look for?

We are looking for a Software / DevOps Engineer to play a key role in helping our software development teams migrate to the cloud and adopt DevOps best practices across the project of the client from the banking sector.


📍 Work Location: Work model in hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH),

📋 Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

  • Support multiple Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and product teams in onboarding to our internal DevOps platform and curated Azure services
  • Drive the re-platforming/migration of applications to cloud infrastructure while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards, compliance controls, and secure-by-design principles
  • Drive the migration of CI/CD pipelines from Bitbucket/Jenkins to GitLab, ensuring alignment with platform standards and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, educating and enabling them on DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, and cloud-native development
  • Contribute to improving the developer experience by creating templates, documentation, and training materials that simplify platform adoption



💡 What do we expect from you?

  • Software engineer with profound hands-on experience (5+ years) in application development (Java, .NET, Python, or similar)
  • Practical experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and migrating between toolchains (Bitbucket/Jenkins → GitLab)
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, Git workflows, and modern delivery practices
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Experience with deployment of containerized workloads and orchestration (Nexus, Helm, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience working in air-gapped or restricted enterprise environments, where all external dependencies must be consumed from internal registries
  • Cloud certifications (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a strong advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience working in agile environments (SAFe or similar) and collaborating across multiple teams
