Description

We are looking for a proactive and dedicated Network Support Specialist to join our team. This role is located in Istanbul . In this role, you will oversee network operations, ensuring that all activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with our company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in both English and Turkish.
  • Bchelor’s degree in IT / Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in hands-on network support.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in Network Operations, Network Support, or broader Infrastructure roles.
  • Demonstrated capability to troubleshoot network issues end-to-end, covering cabling, hardware, configuration, and connectivity layers.
  • Practical exposure to Cisco switching and wireless setups (RBS, Access Points, patch panels, cabinet organization, and port mapping).
  • Experience with day-to-day network monitoring, managing alerts, and proactively preventing incidents.
  • Ability to support telecom / carrier circuits including circuit activation or relocation processes and IP assignment activities.
  • Comfortable providing L1 support during major incidents, joining bridge calls, and ensuring proper escalation.
  • Fluent in both English and Turkish


Responsibilities:

  • Ensure network access, services, and core network functions remain stable and reliable.
  • Perform daily network monitoring activities, review alerts, and proactively detect potential issues.
  • Identify recurring network problems and resolve them, while ensuring availability monitoring during business hours.
  • Manage network capacity, monitor productivity indicators, and validate network-related expenditures.
  • Keep network asset information accurate and ensure server room documentation is consistently updated.
  • Provide first-line support for network incidents and major outages both during and outside standard working hours.
  • Troubleshoot issues across hardware, configuration, routing, and connectivity/interconnection layers.
  • Track and follow up problem management actions to ensure permanent and sustainable resolution.
  • Coordinate network delivery and implementation tasks with delivery and engineering teams.
  • Drive improvement and innovation initiatives aimed at reducing network issues and improving overall stability.
  • Coordinate escalations with carriers and resolve connectivity-related incidents in a timely manner.
  • Work in close coordination with vendors, engineering teams, and field support to resolve network incidents efficiently.
  • Collaborate with network engineering teams on complex network problems and long-term solutions.
