This time, we are looking for a senior JAVA Software Engineer to join our team who can help us to further develop and improve the portfolio of marketing software solutions owned by our partner Spotler Group. You would be working directly with other team members of Spotler Group, mainly based in the Netherlands, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Job description:

You will be part of an international team of professionals working on features used across multiple products by thousands of customers. We are seeking a JAVA backend developer to help expand our high-performance transactional email platform.

You will bring proactive ideas, enjoy significant development opportunities, and work with us to adopt the most commonly used and cutting-edge technologies to meet the demands of our expanding client base.

The following technologies and tools will be part of your work:

• JAVA

• REST API’s

• Nginx, HAProxy

• RabbitMQ, Kafka

• OpenObserve

• Elastic

• MySQL, Minio

• Kubernetes

• Jira, Git for source control

• JetBrains with Copilot

• Jira for project management

• 1 time per week, a refinement.

•  2-weekly sprints with a retrospective, demo & sprint planning

Job requirements:

· Good level of English

· At least 5 years of experience

· Previous knowledge of working on a SAAS related platform

· Experience writing unit and end-to-end tests

· You have an affinity with the latest techniques and developments in our field, but also dare to sink your teeth into old (legacy) code of some parts of the Spotler products
