About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Front End Developer to join our dynamic team supporting digital services for federal agencies. This fully remote position within the United States offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that directly impact Veterans and public service delivery. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing engaging, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces. You will collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, and design teams to craft solutions that meet user needs while adhering to compliance standards. Your expertise will help ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable web applications using modern technologies such as React, Redux, JavaScript, and TypeScript, within Ruby on Rails and Drupal environments.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining web applications using React, Redux, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience working within Ruby on Rails and Drupal stacks.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, best practices, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• Experience with human-centered design principles and user process flow evaluation.
• Ability to monitor and utilize tools like Grafana and Datadog for performance and health tracking.
