Job Description
Title: Software Development Engineer in Test
Location: 100% remote- may need flex to work in EST or CST
Type: Contract
Hours: 8-5 M-F (40 hour work week)
Pay: $55-58/hr w2
Length: 12 months- possibility to extend
Screenings: no tech, full panel drug and background once hired
+optional benefits, long term contract with ability to extend or convert to full time
MUST HAVES:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript
- Experience with test runners such as Mocha
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or similar UI automation frameworks
- Experience testing MQTT or Pub/Sub interfaces (WebSockets, SSE, etc.)
- Experience testing GraphQL APIs, including complex query validation
- Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization (Docker)
- Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Strong debugging skills, including log analysis across distributed systems
- Experience with Jira or similar tracking tools
- Exposure to Android test automation (e.g., Appium)
