About The Role

We are seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join our mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining high-quality React Native and TypeScript applications that power our Sportsbook, Social Sweepstakes Sportsbook, Arcade, and Casino products. This is a high-impact position where you will own features end-to-end, working with real-time WebSocket data feeds, creating hardware-accelerated graphics, and developing physics-based animations to enhance user engagement. You will ship polished, reliable products to users across multiple US states, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting visually stunning, performant mobile applications and a strong understanding of cross-platform development challenges.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional front-end development experience
• 2+ years of experience building production React Native applications for iOS and Android
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript with modern development patterns
• Experience with Reanimated library, including shared values, worklets, and gesture handlers
• Proven track record of shipping high-quality, production-ready mobile apps
• Experience debugging platform-specific issues on iOS, Android, and web
• Understanding of mobile performance optimization techniques
• Experience with real-time data architecture, including WebSocket management and GraphQL subscriptions (preferred)
• Familiarity with Canvas-based graphics libraries such as React Skia (preferred)
• Knowledge of payment integration flows, including in-app purchases and verification processes (preferred)

• Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop and ship features for sportsbook, casino, and fantasy apps using React Native
• Implement complex UI components such as market layouts, betting slips, player props, and lobby experiences
• Create physics-based animations and gesture-driven interactions, including carousels, radial controls, and animated transitions
• Work with canvas-based graphics for visualizations, player cards, and dynamic effects
• Contribute to and maintain a theme-based design system with over 100 shared components
• Build and maintain WebSocket subscriptions for live odds, match updates, and user notifications
• Implement synchronization between real-time data streams and local application state
• Handle deep linking from push notifications, attribution links, and web referrals
• Integrate payment flows such as in-app purchases, bank transfers, and card verification
• Debug and resolve platform-specific issues across iOS, Android, and web platforms
• Optimize app performance, including animation frame rates, rendering efficiency, and memory management
• Write worklet functions for execution on the animation thread to ensure smooth interactions
