Job Description:
Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, the Engineering Manager oversees engineering activities across foundry, machining, and assembly operations. This role is responsible for leading a team of engineers, managing capital projects, and driving productivity improvements aligned with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
•Lead and mentor a team of engineers supporting foundry, machining, and assembly operations
•Oversee capital project planning, budgeting, and execution

•Develop and implement improvement initiatives to meet productivity, quality, and cost targets
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations and resolve technical issues
•Ensure timely and accurate documentation of engineering changes, SOPs, and work instructions
•Manage tooling and equipment design and procurement
•Support product industrialization and manufacturability assessments
•Promote safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable standards
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
•7+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
•Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering capital and improvement projects
•Experience in foundry, machining, and assembly operations
•Proficiency in 3D CAD software and manufacturing documentation
•Knowledge of metallurgy and material properties, particularly in casting and machining
•Excellent communication and leadership skills

Work Location
This is an onsite position, Monday through Friday, at a manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance may be available based on business needs.
