Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Social Media Manager to support a UK-based employer in growing their brand presence across social media platforms. This role is ideal for a South African professional who is organised, proactive, and confident working with UK teams remotely.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the day-to-day operation of social media accounts across multiple platforms
  • Handle content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and performance reporting
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders across time zones
  • Maintain accurate records of content calendars, campaign results, and audience analytics
  • Use relevant tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Canva, and native social media platforms
  • Support the wider team with influencer outreach, paid social campaigns, and brand consistency
  • Identify opportunities to grow followers, increase engagement, and strengthen brand identity

Qualifications And Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in social media management or a related field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously
  • Proficient in social media scheduling tools, basic graphic design, and analytics dashboards
  • Able to work independently and manage your own time effectively
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Experience working with UK-based clients or employers is advantageous
  • Must have a reliable laptop, stable internet connection, and a quiet working environment

Salary: R27,000/month | 100% Remote
