Job Description

Description

Position: Sr. Manager of Remote Vision Monitoring (RVM)

Job Type: Exempt- Full-time

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Reports to: President

This role is 100% remote with no face-to-face contact with patients. We have a “remote first” environment and are proud to have team members located nationally.

Summary

This role owns the strategic direction and performance of the RVM program. The Sr. Manager sets 3, 6, and 12-month plans, drives the program toward scale (including a standalone RVM rollout), and translates strategy into clear priorities for Team Leads who handle day-to-day operations. They work closely with the President and executive team, and coordinate product and data needs across the program.

This is a builder's role — best suited for someone who thinks several months ahead, anticipates needs before they arise, and can bring the right people, partnerships, and plans together to support rapid growth.

Essential Functions

  • Set and own the 3, 6, and 12 month goals for the RVM program, in collaboration with the President and executive leadership
  • Translate strategy into monthly goals and priorities for Team Leads to execute against
  • Plan and lead the next operational phases of scale, including RVM standalone rollout and the digital-first enrollment model
  • Coordinate with Customer Success and Growth on RPM implementation processes for new practices and clients
  • Anticipate scaling needs (people, vendors, tools, workflows) and bring resourcing plans forward in time to meet them
  • Own product and data needs for RVM as the program scales; partner with Product, Engineering, and Data on roadmap, prioritization, and delivery
  • Leads and develops RVM Team Leads through hiring, coaching, and performance management. Owns the staffing plan and caseload allocation to support program growth, targeting 7-8 FTE by EOY 2026. Builds a high-performance team culture with consistent 1:1s, reviews, and development plans, and manages vendor relationships to supplement internal capacity.
  • Approve and govern SOPs, training materials, and operational policies authored by Team Leads; ensure they stay current as tech and workflows evolve
  • Set encounter goals and targets in collaboration with executive leadership; monitor reimbursement trends and surface issues early
  • Drive efficiency improvements to meet internal caseload goals
  • Hold accountability for program-level outcomes (revenue, adherence, churn, quality), working through Team Leads on day-to-day delivery
  • Partner with the Director of Quality, Training & Compliance to develop audit rubrics and a training curriculum specific to RVM
  • Own program-level quality outcomes; review audit results with Team Leads and drive corrective action
  • Serves as the main point of contact for Growth on onboarding, client expansion, and physician engagement. Partners with Data on reporting and KPIs, coordinates with ICT/Welcome and Customer Success on patient billing and experience, and works with Billing to ensure claims are accurate and reimbursed correctly.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required to support Lumata Health’s goals and objectives
