You will lead complex investigations, guide performance and conduct matters, and ensure consistent, compliant, and equitable outcomes across the enterprise. Acting as both a trusted partner and escalation point, you will work closely with Talent and Legal teams to resolve sensitive issues with clarity and integrity. The role blends hands-on case leadership with strategic influence, shaping policies, frameworks, and manager capability. You will also play a key role in identifying systemic patterns and strengthening culture through proactive interventions. This is a high-impact position where your expertise directly influences trust, accountability, and organizational effectiveness at scale.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will own and lead the employee relations function by ensuring fair, consistent, and compliant practices across the organization. You will manage complex workplace issues while also shaping systems that improve long-term organizational health.

  • Serve as the enterprise lead for employee relations strategy, standards, and risk management across teams and functions.
  • Conduct and oversee complex investigations, ensuring timely, objective, and well-documented resolutions aligned with legal and policy requirements.
  • Guide performance management processes, including improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and documentation standards.
  • Partner closely with Talent, Legal, and business leaders to advise on conduct, performance, conflict resolution, and organizational risk.
  • Develop and refine employee relations frameworks, templates, reporting tools, and case management processes.
  • Analyze ER trends and case data to identify systemic issues and recommend proactive improvements to leadership.
  • Support manager capability building through coaching, training tools, and real-time advisory on sensitive employee matters.
  • Act as a neutral mediator in complex interpersonal or team conflicts, ensuring fair and structured resolution outcomes.

Requirements

This role requires deep expertise in employee relations, strong judgment in complex situations, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across the business.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in HR or employee relations, including significant exposure to investigations and performance management.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policy development, and compliance frameworks, with the ability to partner effectively with Legal.
  • Proven experience managing sensitive, high-risk employee relations cases and delivering fair, consistent outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze data and ER trends to influence strategy and drive organizational improvements.
  • Experience coaching and advising managers on performance, conduct, and difficult conversations.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present clearly to senior leadership and document complex findings effectively.
  • High emotional intelligence, neutrality, and ability to navigate conflict with professionalism and discretion.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; professional HR certifications (e.g., SPHR) are a plus.

Benefits

  • Fully remote work flexibility across the United States (with optional hybrid access near office locations)
  • Competitive salary range aligned with experience and location
  • Annual bonus eligibility and merit-based compensation growth opportunities
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Retirement savings plan with employer contributions
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave policies
  • Parental leave and family support programs
  • Employee wellness programs and mental health resources
  • Learning and development support, including training and career growth opportunities
  • Inclusive, mission-driven culture focused on impact, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
