Compensation Details
- Mgr Technology Delivery 19 (Manager): Salaries typically range from $112,006 to $149,341 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.
- Export Development Canada operates in a hybrid work environment, with a current requirement of three in-office days per week (subject to change).
- This role can be performed from EDC’s headquarters in Ottawa.

The Digital & Technology Solutions (DTS) group under the leadership of the Chief Information Officer was established in 2023 with the mission of empowering our customers and colleagues to take on the world, by seamlessly delivering secure and reliable digital experiences. Digital & Technology Solutions has set out to achieve the following objectives for EDC:
- Define, execute, and sustain the integrated technology target state, target data model and technology operations required to enable EDC’s 2030 business transformation.
- Establish and manage the rolling 3 Year Digital Roadmap that sequences the technology outcomes required to achieve the technology target state and facilitate its execution across all domains in the organization.
- Keep pace with industry trends and emerging technologies, ensuring EDC has access to the digital technology tools it needs to stay relevant in the market and grow Canadian global trade.
- Lead and ensure integrated digital, data, infrastructure, and cybersecurity implementations to create excellent customer, user, and employee experiences.
This role combines people leadership, service ownership, and strategic execution, ensuring EUC services are reliable, scalable, cost effective, and aligned with business needs, security standards, and digital workplace priorities.
What You Will Be Doing
EUC Strategy & Service Ownership:
- Own the EUC service portfolio, including endpoint devices, operating systems, endpoint management platforms (e.g., Intune), peripherals, and related lifecycle services.
- Define and execute the EUC roadmap, aligning with enterprise digital workplace, security, and employee experience strategies.
- Balance user experience, cost optimization, and security posture across all EUC services.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of EUC services across the enterprise.
- Oversee incident, problem, and change management related to EUC in alignment with ITSM processes and governance.
- Act as an escalation point for critical EUC incidents and employee-impacting issues, driving timely resolution and clear communications.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of EUC engineers, analysts, and/or managed service partners.
- Set clear priorities, performance expectations, and development plans for team members.
- Manage strategic vendor and managed service relationships, ensuring service levels, contractual obligations, and value realization are met.

- Partner closely with Cybersecurity, IAM, and Risk teams to ensure secure endpoint configurations, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Ensure EUC services comply with enterprise policies related to device security, data protection, and access controls.
- Serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, HR, IT, and Digital Employee Experience teams.
- Use metrics, service insights, and user feedback to continuously improve EUC services and employee satisfaction.
- Champion innovation and modernization of the digital workplace, including automation and AI enabled endpoint experiences where applicable.
- Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience in End User Computing (EUC), Workplace Technology, or IT Operations.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience leading technology teams in a people manager capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire diverse, cross-functional teams; including junior and senior staff, by fostering an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance culture aligned with EDC’s values.
- Strong expertise in Windows endpoints, device lifecycle management, endpoint security, and enterprise mobility.
- Proven experience operating within ITSM frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Ownership).
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional initiatives and manage external vendors or managed services.
- Ability to set direction and deliver results, translating strategy into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for service delivery, outcomes, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to communicate clearly and influence stakeholders, including senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and using data and insights to inform decisions and improve outcomes.
- Bilingual in both official languages (English and French).

- Experience with Digital Employee Experience (DEX) or workplace transformation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Intune, Endpoint Analytics, and modern device management practices.
- Experience working in large, regulated, or distributed enterprise environments.
