About The Role
The Web & Digital Designer position is an integral part of CableLabs’ Marketing department, which manages communication efforts across the organization and its subsidiaries. This role involves designing and optimizing engaging web and landing page experiences, managing web content updates, and creating cohesive digital and print marketing assets. Your work will directly impact our digital presence by enhancing user engagement, accessibility, and overall user experience. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, versatile designer with strong visual design skills, an understanding of UX and SEO best practices, and hands-on experience managing web content.
You will be responsible for designing visually compelling web pages and marketing assets that align with our brand standards, applying UX principles to improve usability and conversion, maintaining and building responsive WordPress pages, and implementing on-page SEO strategies. Additionally, you will audit websites to identify and resolve issues, support cross-departmental projects, and contribute to marketing initiatives through the creation of high-quality graphics and promotional materials. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your creativity and technical expertise will directly influence our digital outreach and branding efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in web, digital, or graphic design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating web design and marketing/print work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience building and managing web content on WordPress
- Understanding of UX principles and responsive design
- Working knowledge of SEO best practices
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
