Duration: 12 months to start, (strong likelihood of extension to 24 months)
Preferred Location: Remote – Philippines (must be able to work U.S. Eastern Time hours)
Role Description:
We are seeking a Tester / QA Consultant to support ongoing Workday implementations, enhancements, integrations, and business-as-usual (BAU) system changes. This role will be responsible for executing end-to-end testing efforts across Workday modules, validating system configurations and integrations, and ensuring high-quality releases through structured test planning, execution, and defect management.
The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience testing within Workday environments, understands HRIS workflows and integrations, and is comfortable working closely with functional teams, technical teams, and business stakeholders in a fast-paced delivery environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term program with potential extension beyond the initial contract term.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across Workday implementations and enhancement initiatives
- Validate Workday configurations, business process changes, security updates, and system enhancements
- Test inbound/outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems, ensuring data accuracy and process reliability
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test execution documentation
- Track, document, and manage defects through resolution, partnering with technical and functional teams to validate fixes
- Support release readiness activities for BAU updates, patches, and production changes
- Collaborate with Workday functional leads, integration teams, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and testing scope
- Provide clear testing status updates, risk identification, and quality metrics to project leadership

Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in QA / Testing, with experience supporting Workday platforms
- Hands-on experience testing for Workday implementations, enhancements, or production support changes
- Experience validating Workday integrations (APIs, middleware, file-based integrations, third-party HR/payroll/benefits systems)
- Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, defect lifecycle management, and release validation
- Experience working with defect / test management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, Zephyr, or similar
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with distributed teams
- Must be able to work U.S. Eastern Time business hours from the Philippines
