Plan and optimize paid campaigns (search and social)
Track and improve campaign performance
Contribute to growing Wholechain's presence
Support amplification of product updates, partnerships, and insights
Use AI tools to accelerate content and campaign iteration
Help build systems that improve marketing efficiency

Location Requirement

This is a remote role, with a strong preference for candidates based in Cape Town or the Western Cape, South Africa, to align with team collaboration and working hours (SAST).

The Role

We are looking for an AI-native digital marketer who enjoys both strategy and hands-on execution.

In this role, you will help build and evolve Wholechain’s core growth engine — shaping how we communicate, acquire, and convert demand across digital channels.

You’ll work closely with leadership to translate technical ideas into clear narratives and high-performing digital experiences, while continuously improving performance across content, website, and campaigns.


What You’ll Work On

Content & Narrative

  • Translate technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • Develop content such as POVs, case studies, and website copy
  • Website & Landing Pages (Framer)
  • Build and iterate marketing pages
  • Improve messaging and conversion performance over time


SEO & AI Search

  • Identify and execute on keyword opportunities
  • Improve visibility, rankings, and inbound traffic


SEM & Performance Marketing

  • Plan and optimize paid campaigns (search and social)
  • Track and improve campaign performance


Social & Distribution

  • Contribute to growing Wholechain’s presence
  • Support amplification of product updates, partnerships, and insights


AI-Enabled Workflows

  • Use AI tools to accelerate content and campaign iteration
  • Help build systems that improve marketing efficiency


Analytics

  • Track key metrics and identify opportunities for improvement


What We’re Looking For

  • ~4+ years of experience in digital marketing, growth, or demand generation
  • Hands-on experience contributing to:
  • website or landing page development (Framer, Webflow, or similar)
  • SEO and/or SEM initiatives
  • digital campaigns across channels
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible content
  • Experience using AI tools in marketing workflows
  • A thoughtful, analytical approach to improving performance


Nice to Have

  • Experience in B2B SaaS or technical products
  • Experience in early-stage or fast-moving teams
  • Familiarity with AI-first or AI-augmented marketing approaches


Hiring Process

We begin with a 4–6 week paid contract engagement (5–10 hours/week) to ensure mutual fit before moving into a full-time role.
