Job Description


1. About Our Client:

This organization operates in the AI-powered practice management software sector, serving accounting firms. It addresses the challenge of inefficient and fragmented workflows in accounting by providing a cloud platform that enables tens of thousands of professionals across 40 countries to collaborate and work more efficiently. The company has expanded into a globally distributed team spanning multiple countries and is recognized for its growth and employee-focused culture.


2. About the Opportunity:

The People Business Partner role supports the Customer and Sales teams, partnering with senior and executive leaders to influence performance and engagement through strategic people insights. This position combines deep business understanding with advanced AI tool usage to anticipate challenges, drive data-informed people strategies, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.


3. Responsibilities:

• Proactively partner with senior leaders in Customer and Sales to shape the people agenda based on business context and metrics.

• Utilize AI tools to generate insights, automate routine tasks, and enhance reporting and leadership conversations.

• Manage and report on complex employment relations cases using AI, while empowering leaders to handle them independently.

• Monitor and interpret key performance metrics to align people strategies.

• Provide constructive challenge to leadership decisions that affect people or business risk, supported by data and AI insights.

• Develop narratives using people data and AI to promote leadership alignment.

• Lead HR project management initiatives with embedded AI processes.

• Establish trusted relationships with VP and C-suite stakeholders, acting as a business peer.

• Drive adoption of people programs through influence and evidence-based approaches.

• Collaborate with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development to ensure a cohesive employee experience.

• Contribute to global people initiatives across multiple operating regions.


4. Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience including business partnering and a generalist background.

• Experience in SaaS or high-growth technology environments with understanding of GTM organizations and revenue drivers.

• Familiarity with Customer and Sales key metrics such as GDR, NDR, churn, pipeline coverage, and quota attainment.

• Proactive approach to partnership, anticipating needs and delivering insights ahead of requests.

• Ability to build credibility and act as a peer to senior leaders.

• Skilled in constructively challenging leadership decisions.

• Strong data fluency and experience crafting narratives from people data enhanced by AI.

• Daily hands-on use of AI tools and agentic workflows to improve efficiency.

• Solid knowledge of US employment law and compliance, including multi-state experience.

• Proven capacity to manage multiple projects independently and deliver results.

• Experience coaching leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, and AI-augmented teams.

• High integrity, emotional intelligence, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.

• Keen interest in the evolving role of AI in the future of work.
