Galvanick is building the next generation threat detection platform for the industrial world. Our focus is on operational technologies involved with SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) and ICS (industrial control systems). Galvanick’s cloud-native analysis platform aggregates telemetry from industrial assets and environments, providing continuous monitoring and threat detection to enable security practitioners to quickly understand context around normal and malicious behavior.

About The Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. In this role, you will play a crucial role in building out our internal tooling and pipelines, with the goal of improving developer experience and enabling faster product iteration. You will leverage automation and orchestration to optimize delivery practices and costs. If you are passionate about building robust internal systems, improving developer experience, and ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure, we would love to hear from you.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain internal tooling to enhance the efficiency and productivity of our development processes.
• Embrace automation and leverage infrastructure management tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet) to improve deployment pipelines and eliminate recurring issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement pipelines that streamline our workflows.
• Monitor our infrastructure's usage, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to optimize performance.
• Build internal monitoring systems to proactively detect issues, such as sensor failures or data gaps.
• Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting activities, ensuring the reliability of our equipment.
  
  
  

Who You Are

• Proficient in CI/CD automation, SDLC, cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and attribute-based access control (ABAC).
• Knowledge of security frameworks, compliance and regulatory standards (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA).
• Comfortable integrating with managing IAM systems and tools such as DUO, Okta, and others.
• Proficient in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Go).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location

The Galvanick team is based in Seattle. Given that we are an early-stage startup working on an exceptionally hard problem, we expect new team members to be in office. We are happy to cover relocation expenses.
