Job Description
We are looking for a Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join our partner's team on a B2B contract basis. This is a FULL REMOTE role for a professional passionate about test automation, quality engineering, and continuous improvement of software delivery processes.
Requirements:
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript (preferred).
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of Playwright capabilities, including:
- Session storage handling
- CodeGen
- Reporting
- Web locator strategies (XPath/CSS selectors)
- Experience designing, implementing, and executing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar tools).
- Working knowledge of API test automation, including:
- REST APIs
- Request/response validation
- Basic assertions
- Familiarity with GitHub workflows and version control practices.
- Experience using GitHub Copilot within VS Code.
- Experience with defect management and test tracking tools such as JIRA and XRay.
- Strong communication and reporting skills, including the ability to provide clear status updates and reports to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of basic automation metrics, KPIs, and ROI calculations related to test automation initiatives.
