Head of AI Agents

We're hiring: Head of AI Agents (Singapore, reporting directly to CEO)

I'm looking for someone to help me build the AI layer of NXAI from the inside out.

NXAI is a CPaaS/CCaaS company at USD 100M revenue, on a path to 200M in three years. AI is our core competitive edge — but here's the truth: tools alone don't transform a company. People do. And right now, I need a builder who can put real, useful agents into the hands of our employees, fast.

One important note upfront

Our working language at NXAI is English — that's how the team communicates and how you'll work day-to-day. But you'll be working directly with me, and my English is functional but not fluent. So you need to be able to have one-on-one conversations with me in basic Mandarin — it doesn't need to be perfect, just enough for us to discuss ideas, debate decisions, and move fast together. If you can't speak any Mandarin at all, this role won't work. If you're fully Mandarin-background without strong English, this role also won't work — the team operates in English.

What you'll own

You'll report directly to me. Together we'll define what gets built; you'll make it real.

• Design and ship internal AI agents that NXAI employees actually use every day — starting with sales, customer success, and operations
• Build on our existing Microsoft 365 stack (Teams, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Graph API, Azure AI Foundry where it makes sense)
• Lead a small team of engineers and designers (you'll hire them with me)
• Own adoption, not just delivery — your KPI is daily active usage, not "agents launched"
• Be my partner in driving change across an organization that's still warming up to AI

What I need you to have done before

• Built AI agents with your own hands. Not managed projects. Built them. You can walk me through prompt design, context handling, hallucination control, and what made users actually come back the next day.
• Deep fluency in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem — Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Graph API, Teams app development. You know when to use Copilot Studio vs. building custom, and why.
• CPaaS, CCaaS, or enterprise SaaS background. You understand contact center workflows, agent assist, conversational AI in customer-facing contexts. You can talk to our sales and CS teams in their language from day one.
• A track record of driving adoption inside resistant organizations. You have a real story — with numbers — about getting people to change how they work.

What will make you stand out

• You've shipped something on Copilot Studio or Agent 365 that's still in production
• You've worked at a CPaaS/CCaaS company (Twilio, Vonage, Infobip, Genesys, RingCentral, 8x8, or similar) or a Microsoft partner doing enterprise Copilot rollouts (Avanade, Accenture, NCS, Hitachi Solutions)
• You'd rather prototype in a week than write a 40-page strategy deck

The role

• Base: Singapore (in-office, with flexibility)
• Level: Senior Product Manager / Product Director
• Reports to: CEO (me)
• Compensation: Competitive base + meaningful equity. We pay for builders.
• EP sponsorship available for the right person
