Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and result-oriented OPT Recruiter with 1–3 years of experience in US IT Staffing. The recruiter will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding OPT EAD and H1B Transfer consultants who can be marketed by the Bench Sales team for client projects across the US market.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with job portals, LinkedIn sourcing, university hiring, consultant relationship management, and visa-based recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
OPT & H1B Consultant Recruitment
- Source and recruit OPT EAD, STEM OPT, and H1B Transfer consultants
- Build a strong pipeline of IT consultants for Bench Sales marketing
- Identify qualified candidates across different technologies and domains
- Work on onboarding consultants for immediate marketing
Sourcing & Talent Acquisition
- Use LinkedIn, Dice, Monster, Indeed, CareerBuilder, and other portals for sourcing
- Conduct cold calling and email campaigns to attract consultants
- Connect with university graduates and entry-level IT candidates
- Build relationships with consultants for long-term engagement
Screening & Evaluation
- Screen resumes and evaluate technical skills
- Conduct initial HR screening and communication assessment
- Verify visa status, work authorization, and relocation flexibility
- Assess consultant availability and project readiness

Consultant Management
- Maintain consultant database and daily tracking sheets
- Coordinate with Bench Sales recruiters regarding consultant submissions
- Ensure updated resumes and skill matrices are available
- Maintain regular communication with consultants during onboarding
Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with Bench Sales and Recruitment teams
- Share daily and weekly recruitment updates
- Maintain recruitment metrics and sourcing reports
- Support internal hiring goals and consultant pipeline growth
Required Skills:
- 1–3 years of experience in OPT Recruitment or US IT Staffing
- Strong understanding of OPT EAD, STEM OPT, and H1B Transfer processes
- Experience sourcing consultants through job portals and LinkedIn
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong understanding of US IT technologies and roles
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience recruiting candidates for Bench Sales
