Job Description

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a VP, Marketing in the United States.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a creative and strategic marketing executive passionate about transforming the insurance industry through technology and innovation. In this role, you will shape and elevate brand positioning across agents, brokers, carrier partners, and policyholders while driving distribution growth in highly competitive and catastrophe-exposed markets. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership, sales, and underwriting teams to deliver compelling messaging, scalable marketing strategies, and measurable business growth. This position is ideal for a hands-on builder who thrives in fast-moving environments and enjoys developing modern marketing functions from the ground up. You will oversee integrated campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, industry event strategies, and market intelligence efforts that directly influence revenue generation and brand credibility. The organization offers a collaborative, remote-first culture focused on innovation, agility, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through advanced technology solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Define and lead the overall brand strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning across agents, brokers, carrier partners, and policyholders.
  • Develop and execute marketing initiatives that support distribution growth, agent recruitment, and expansion into new geographic markets.
  • Build targeted campaigns and co-marketing programs tailored to independent agents, wholesale brokers, and specialty insurance distribution channels.
  • Oversee digital marketing efforts including website strategy, email campaigns, SEO/SEM, LinkedIn presence, analytics, and emerging digital platforms.
  • Create compelling content such as thought leadership articles, market insights, catastrophe event communications, and sales enablement materials.
  • Translate complex underwriting, product, and market information into clear, engaging narratives that resonate with industry audiences.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive dynamics to support strategic market positioning and expansion decisions.
  • Lead event and conference marketing strategies, maximizing brand visibility and relationship-building opportunities within the insurance ecosystem.
  • Manage and mentor a marketing team while overseeing external vendors, agency relationships, budgets, and campaign performance metrics.
  • Drive measurable pipeline growth, revenue generation, and marketing ROI through data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3-5 years within the property and casualty insurance sector.
  • Strong understanding of catastrophe-exposed insurance markets including coastal wind, flood, wildfire, and surplus lines environments.
  • Experience leading both B2B and B2C marketing initiatives, particularly within insurance distribution and policyholder communications.
  • Proven expertise managing CRM platforms, marketing automation systems, analytics dashboards, and modern MarTech ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale marketing functions in fast-paced, growth-oriented organizations.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience driving measurable revenue growth, pipeline generation, and marketing performance through strategic campaigns.
  • Creative mindset with strong branding instincts and an eye for compelling design and messaging.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Comfortable operating in remote work environments with occasional travel for meetings, conferences, and team collaboration.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and dedicated remote workspace required.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Company-paid short-term and long-term disability benefits.
  • Company-paid life and AD&D insurance with additional voluntary coverage options.
  • Flexible spending accounts (FSA), dependent care benefits, and healthcare savings account (HSA) options.
  • 401(k) plan with generous employer matching and immediate vesting.
  • 20 days of paid time off annually, plus company holidays and flexible personal holidays.
  • Fully remote U.S.-based work environment within eligible states.
  • Collaborative and innovative culture focused on creativity, growth, and customer experience.
  • Opportunity to work on high-visibility initiatives within a rapidly evolving insurance technology environment.
