Job Description
This short-term QA Tester position focuses on validating digital adoption solutions embedded within Quality Systems. You will test in-application guidance to ensure accuracy, usability, compliance, and readiness for release in GxP-regulated environments. Working closely with WalkMe developers and Quality System stakeholders, you will execute test scenarios, document defects, and verify that WalkMe content performs as intended across supported systems and environments.
Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive QA testing of WalkMe content, including Smart Walk-Thrus, SmartTips, ShoutOuts, Launchers, and Checklists in Quality Systems test and sandbox environments.
- Validate WalkMe behavior against defined requirements, business rules, and intended end-user workflows.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new or updated WalkMe content does not negatively impact existing in-application guidance.
- Identify, document, and clearly communicate defects, usability issues, and performance concerns to WalkMe developers and relevant stakeholders.
- Verify selector stability, conditional logic, triggers, and visibility rules across supported browsers and various system states.
- Confirm that WalkMe content aligns with standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and established quality expectations.
- Support go/no-go release decisions by providing clear QA feedback and recommendations prior to production deployments.
- Maintain clear, detailed, and auditable QA documentation, including test cases, test results, and defect tracking records.
- Participate in walkthroughs, defect triage discussions, and release planning sessions as needed to support timely and high-quality releases.
- Execute testing steps accurately after a single walkthrough or by following written test cases and defined workflows.
- Navigate and test within web-based applications to validate user journeys, guidance flows, and overall user experience.
- Capture defects with sufficient detail, including steps to reproduce, expected versus actual results, and relevant screenshots or logs, to enable efficient resolution.
- Experience performing QA or user acceptance testing (UAT) for software, digital tools, or enterprise systems.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow structured test scenarios and predefined workflows.
- Familiarity with regulated or compliance-driven environments such as GxP, Quality Systems, or validated systems.
- Ability to clearly document issues, reproduction steps, and expected versus actual results in a structured and auditable manner.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working within a cross-functional, matrixed team environment.
- Basic UX/UI familiarity or foundational analytical skills to understand user flows and interface behavior.
- Understanding of high school-level algebra concepts and how variables function within Boolean logic.
- Ability to follow defined workflows and execute testing steps after a single walkthrough or by following written test cases.
- Comfort navigating and testing within web-based applications.
- Documentation and issue-tracking skills, including the ability to clearly describe defects so developers can take effective action.
