AI/ML Research Consultant

We are looking to expand our team of expert consultants with 15 AI/ML Researchers for part-time, fully-remote work supporting frontier AI research. Projects pay $75–90 USD per hour, with higher rates for senior researchers and recognized experts.

This role includes designing original ML research problems from scratch, stress-testing leading AI models on research-level questions in machine learning, and assessing whether AI-generated reasoning meets the standards of a trained ML researcher.

Who We're Looking For You are actively engaged in AI/ML research and stay current with the latest literature on platforms like arXiv. You have research experience advancing the state of the art in areas such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, generative models, or LLM training and evaluation.

• Faculty or research staff working on machine learning at universities or research institutes
• Research scientists or applied researchers at AI labs, large tech companies, or AI-focused startups
• Industry researchers working on novel architectures, training methods, fine-tuning, or evaluation
• Researchers focused on RLHF, interpretability, scaling, alignment, or post-training methods

Minimum Qualifications

• Fluent English reading and writing skills
