About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS Administrator to support enterprise-scale SAP cloud and hybrid environments, with a strong focus on SAP RISE, SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE), SAP Cloud ERP, and S/4HANA migration initiatives.
This role requires a highly skilled SAP BASIS professional with deep expertise across both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks, enterprise SAP administration, cloud transformation programs, and large-scale SAP ecosystem support.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience supporting complex SAP landscapes across both on-premises and cloud deployments, including administration, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, system integration, and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
SAP BASIS Administration & Cloud Operations
• Administer, support, monitor, and optimize enterprise SAP environments across both cloud and on-premises deployments
• Manage SAP ABAP and JAVA stack administration activities including:
– Installation
– Configuration
– Patching
– Performance Tuning
– Troubleshooting
– Documentation
– System Maintenance
• Support SAP RISE (SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition) environments deployed on Microsoft Azure
SAP S/4HANA & Cloud Transformation Support
• Support SAP S/4HANA migration programs using Selective Data Transition (SDT) methodologies
• Participate in major SAP cloud go-live implementations, upgrade initiatives, and modernization programs
• Ensure system stability, integration readiness, and operational continuity during transformation projects
Enterprise SAP Ecosystem Support
• Provide administration and operational support across the following SAP solutions:

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
SAP BASIS & SAP Cloud Expertise
• 12+ years of experience as an SAP BASIS Administrator supporting both SAP ABAP and JAVA stacks
• Experience supporting at least two (2) major SAP Cloud go-live implementations and/or upgrade projects
• Strong hands-on experience with:
– SAP RISE
– SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition (PCE)
– SAP Cloud ERP
– SAP S/4HANA Migration using SDT
Enterprise SAP Administration
• 5+ years of progressively responsible IT experience administering enterprise SAP environments
• Experience administering both SAP and non-SAP enterprise solutions across cloud and on-prem environments
• Strong experience with SAP system design, configuration, architecture, and functionality
• Experience with system development lifecycle, data modeling, and complex technical troubleshooting
Operating Systems & Infrastructure

• SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Administration (Highly Preferred)
• SAP Certified Technology Specialist – SAP S/4HANA Conversion and SAP System Upgrade

• SAP Certified Associate – SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA
• SAP RISE / S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition Certifications

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience with SAP hyperscalers and enterprise cloud architectures
• Experience supporting enterprise SAP modernization and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

• California-based candidates are highly preferred
• Degree copy, references, and certifications are mandatory at submission stage
• Candidates must demonstrate strong hands-on SAP cloud administration experience
• Avoid profiles with only functional SAP experience and limited BASIS expertise
