The Role 🧠

We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer (5+ years) with deep Computer Vision expertise to join our distributed team in the European timezone. 

You will work at the core of our product, building and owning the algorithms that extract real-time data from live video streams at sub-second latency. This is not a research role or a sandbox environment. You will own end-to-end production systems, optimise for scale and speed, and solve genuinely hard real-time inference problems that run 24/7 at global scale. 

What You’ll Do:

• Algorithm Development: Design, train, and implement advanced Computer Vision and ML algorithms for real-time video and image analysis.
• End-to-End Ownership: Build, deploy, and optimize scalable ML systems from initial prototyping to production.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Software Engineers and Data Scientists to seamlessly integrate models into our core infrastructure.
• Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot bottlenecks, refine model efficiency, and ensure systems run smoothly at scale, achieving strict sub-second latency for real-time video processing.

What You Bring to the Table (Requirements):

• Location: Must be located in and working within a European time zone (e.g., GMT, CET, EET).
• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning, with a heavy emphasis on Computer Vision.
• Programming Mastery: Deep expertise in Python and ecosystem libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
• ML Frameworks: Strong practical experience with PyTorch and OpenCV.
• Production Knowledge: Proven ability to deploy and maintain models in production environments.
• Performance-Driven: You know how to balance model accuracy with extreme real-time performance requirements, specifically optimizing for sub-second detection in live video streams.
