Senior Information Security Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Information Security Engineer.

The role is based in our Belgrade office in a light hybrid format (4 days in the office, 1 day remote).

What you'll be doing:

Access management (IAM/SSO): Manual configuration, integration, and administration of corporate accounts (Okta / Google Workspace / Entra ID). Managing end-to-end SSO and MFA across all company systems. Ensuring a strict and fast access revocation process during employee offboarding. A system administrator can be brought in to assist with some tasks.

Endpoint Security: Deploying an MDM system from scratch and administering it across the corporate device fleet. Configuring and enforcing baseline security policies (mandatory disk encryption, password policies, OS update control). A system administrator can be brought in to assist with some tasks.

Network perimeter protection: Hands-on implementation and support of secure remote access tools (Tailscale, Cloudflare Access, or equivalents). Isolating internal resources and databases; eliminating publicly exposed ports.

Monitoring and logging: Setting up centralized collection of critical security logs from cloud platforms and key IT services. Configuring baseline alerts for critical events (brute-force attempts, MFA resets, suspicious admin activity).

Internal documentation: Writing practical regulations, instructions, and runbooks based on the technical configurations you implement (incident response procedures, access management policies, security guidelines for employees).

Incident response: Acting as the first line of defense — rapid technical handling of incidents (locking compromised accounts, remote-wiping lost devices).

What's important to us:

3–5+ years of experience as a SecOps Engineer or Security Engineer.

Hands-on experience independently configuring and administering IDP platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Entra ID) and integrating applications via SAML 2.0 / OIDC.

Experience deploying and managing MDM systems and creating compliance baselines for macOS and Windows.

Understanding of network security and hands-on experience with Zero Trust solutions. Basic task automation skills (Bash, Python, PowerShell) and the ability to read infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for basic auditing of changes in cloud environments.

English at a level sufficient to read technical documentation freely and communicate with international vendor support.

Nice to have:

Experience building a baseline technical security perimeter from scratch in a company as the sole dedicated specialist.

Basic understanding of Kubernetes security (how RBAC and network policies work).
