Role Overview:

We are looking for a Windows & Linux Engineer to join one of our biggest clients, a leading energy company strongly committed to the energy transition and to becoming climate neutral as fast as possible.

In this role, you will be part of a large international team working on dozens of high‑impact projects related to renewable energy, smart grids, and mission‑critical platforms that support energy assets, operational systems, and energy trading environments.

Full Remote – based in Portugal


What you will do:

• Maintain and support Windows Server (2016+) and Linux environments in mission‑critical platforms

• Design and manage containerized environments, including the creation of new landing zones

• Support and maintain OT, asset, and trading platforms related to energy production and distribution

• Work with SCADA‑related applications and ensure secure and reliable configurations

• Maintain Citrix environments, including image processing and application packaging

• Set up, manage, and optimize monitoring solutions using Zabbix, ELK, and Kibana

• Collaborate directly with end‑clients, ensuring clear communication and high service quality

• Participate in lifecycle management (LCM) of platforms, ensuring updates, patching, and stability

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation initiatives


What you are like:

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar technical area

• Solid experience as a Windows and Linux Engineer in complex environments

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux troubleshooting, and system administration

• Experience with Azure, OpenShift, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Hands‑on experience with PowerShell and YAML (Ansible / Puppet)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Zabbix, ELK, and Kibana

• Experience working with ITIL/Waterfall environments and Agile teams is a plus

• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with end‑clients
