Job Description


Duties

  • Conduct analytical and evaluative work in support of headquarters workforce management, including the development, maintenance, and oversight of the Joint Table of Distribution, Joint Table of Mobilization Distribution, and related manning documents.
  • Interpret and implement federal regulations, human capital policies, and workforce guidance governing recruitment, acquisition, and retention of cyber personnel.
  • Coordinate with organizational manpower and human capital stakeholders to ensure proper allocation and distribution of workforce resources.
  • Analyze workforce data and generate manpower and organizational reports to support decision-making.
  • Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers, command leadership, and higher headquarters on workforce management actions, staffing strategies, and position management.
  • Develop recommendations for workforce planning initiatives, staffing strategies and compliance with federal workforce management requirements.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
  • The employee may be recalled to duty, may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, and may be required to work overtime.
  • The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI clearance as a condition of employment and must complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph exam.
  • Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military and/or commercial aircraft.
  • This position is a testing designated position (TDP) in accordance with (IAW) Drug Free Federal Workplace Program according to IAW Chapter 5, section II, paragraphs 5-8b and 5-8c(4) of AR 600-85 and DA PAM 600-85 Chapter 3, paragraphs 3-2e and f
  • As a precondition and continuing condition of employment, the incumbent of this position must submit urinalysis testing on a recurring basis.
  • The incumbent is required to sign a DA Form 5019 (Condition of Employment for Certain Positions Identified as Critical Under the DA, Drug Free Federal Workplace Program.
  • The incumbent must meet NSA personnel security requirements outlined in NSA/CSS Policy 5-1

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe One Year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by 1. applying policies, budgeting principles, analytics, and documentation requirements to support cyber workforce planning and management. 2. Implement federal regulations and human capital policies governing the recruitment, acquisition, and retention of cyber personnel. 3. Provide guidance and recommendations to hiring managers, command leadership, and higher headquarters on workforce management actions, staffing strategies, and organizational workforce planning.
