Are you the type of person who enjoys solving problems, figuring out how things work, and continuously learning new technologies? We are seeking a Security Engineer who brings curiosity, critical thinking, and a passion for cybersecurity. While technical experience is important, we believe great security professionals are defined by their ability to learn, adapt, and tackle challenges they have never seen before.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a collaborative security team where you'll gain exposure to a broad range of cybersecurity disciplines and work alongside experienced security leaders who are committed to mentoring and developing talent.

What You'll Do

  • Participate in security investigations, incident response activities, and threat analysis
  • Support identity and access management initiatives
  • Assist with vulnerability identification, remediation, and security improvement efforts
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and technology teams to strengthen security posture
  • Help identify opportunities to automate repetitive processes and improve operational efficiency
  • Research emerging security threats, technologies, and best practices
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and proactive security thinking

What We're Looking For

We're less concerned about checking every technical box and more interested in how you think, learn, and solve problems.

Ideal candidates may come from cybersecurity, systems administration, infrastructure engineering, networking, DevOps, software development, or other technical disciplines.

You may be a fit if you have experience with some combination of:

  • Cybersecurity operations or security engineering
  • Email security platforms (Mimecast experience is a plus)
  • Incident response or threat analysis
  • Vulnerability management
  • Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) technologies
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Linux or Windows administration
  • Python, scripting, or automation
  • Cloud technologies
  • AI tools, automation, or personal technology projects

What Makes Someone Successful Here

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Intellectual curiosity and a desire to continuously learn
  • Ability to solve complex problems independently
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges
  • Humility, coachability, and a team-first mindset

Education & Experience

We are open to a wide range of backgrounds, including:

  • Recent graduates with strong technical aptitude and demonstrated initiative
  • Early-career cybersecurity professionals
  • Systems, infrastructure, network, or platform engineers looking to expand into security
  • Mid-level security engineers seeking broader exposure and growth opportunities

Why This Opportunity?

This role offers the chance to work in an environment that values potential, creativity, and problem-solving over rigid career paths. You'll have the opportunity to grow your skills across multiple security disciplines while helping shape the future of a rapidly evolving security organization.

If you're passionate about technology, enjoy learning, and want to build a meaningful career in cybersecurity, we'd love to hear from you.
