Senior Motion Designer - Social Media Content

Social Cuts is a content agency that helps health and wellness brands show up seriously on social. Our clients are doing real, meaningful work — and our job is to make that work impossible to scroll past.

We're not a "post three times a week and hope for the best" shop. We care deeply about editing intuition, pacing, hooks, and the kind of craft that separates content people actually watch from content that just exists.

We recently finished a project that set a new bar for what our content can look like — and we want that level of quality to become our standard. We're bringing on a full-time motion designer to own that visual layer across our client work and help us build the systems to do it consistently.

You'll be the in-house motion designer for Social Cuts, embedded across our client work and collaborating directly with our editing team. This isn't a one-off project gig — you're building something here.

Specifically, you'll own:

• Motion graphics and animation for short-form vertical content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts)
• Brand-specific template libraries so our team can work faster and more cohesively over time
• Visual systems that make educational and talking-head content feel genuinely engaging
• Roughly 3 finished edits per week across client accounts

• 3+ years in motion graphics/design with a portfolio that includes short-form social content
• Deep After Effects skills — this is the core of the role
• Strong instincts for social-first editing: hooks, pacing, captions as design elements
