Monitor and report on product stability through test suite results and defect metrics
Identify project risks early and escalate issues to stakeholders as needed

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Analyst with domain expertise in geoscience to join our remote team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with global development teams from Europe, Canada, and the US to ensure the quality, reliability, and user satisfaction of our software products. Your primary responsibilities will include designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies, identifying and managing defects, and collaborating with automation engineers to enhance test automation coverage. You will play a crucial role in validating new features, managing regression testing efforts, and ensuring the stability of our software solutions throughout the development lifecycle. Your expertise in geosciences combined with your quality assurance skills will contribute significantly to delivering high-quality, low-risk software products that meet client expectations and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing
  • Proven domain expertise in Geology, Geosciences, or Geophysics
  • Hands-on experience with Agentic AI to enhance productivity
  • Proficiency in both Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with Landmark’s suite of products is preferred
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps for defect tracking and test case management
  • Familiarity with OpenWorks/Oracle database management
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitLab
  • Software development experience and understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools and frameworks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
  • Willingness to coach junior team members and collaborate cross-functionally
