Senior DevOps Engineer

Salary of 6,000 – 10,000 Euros gross a month based on skills and experience + lunch + relocation package if from abroad

Our client is an international AdTech company in Limassol is looking for Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve the infrastructure that powers our data-intensive platforms. This role sits at the core of our R&D organization. You’ll design, operate, and harden the systems that ingest, process, and serve high-volume, low-latency data—while enabling engineering teams to move fast without breaking things. Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available production infrastructure.

Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows across multiple services and environments.

Operate and optimize containerized systems (Docker, Kubernetes) in cloud environments.

Ensure reliability, performance, and security of systems handling large-scale real-time data.

Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability stacks.

Partner closely with Backend, Data, and Front-End teams to support development and release workflows.

Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term reliability improvements.

Automate everything that can be automated—and question what shouldn’t exist at all.

Requirements:

5–8+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure roles.

Experience with On Premise environments in production.

Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration at scale.

Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.).

Experience operating data-heavy systems (Kafka, Spark, Elasticsearch, distributed databases).

Strong background in Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentals.

Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).

Practical experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).

Ability to diagnose complex production issues across application, infrastructure, and data layers.

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Located in Europe and willing to move to Cyprus

The working days are Monday – Friday, 9am-6pm with an hour off (onsite job for people located in Limassol, for candidates located in Paphos, Nicosia, etc. hybrid working can be discussed).
