Sovereign Cloud Engineer - Europe

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Oversee the launch of a new sovereign cloud initiative in Europe.

• Collaborate with global teams to influence the evolution of cloud services and technology.

• Drive improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of cloud services.

• Identify anomalies and create actionable bug reports to enhance system efficiency and performance.

• Participate in on-call rotations for incident resolution.

• Educate service teams on the complexities of the European Sovereign Cloud.

What You'll Need

• Fluency in written and spoken English.

• Must be a national of an EU member state and residing in the EU.

• Demonstrated expertise in systems engineering with hardware, software, networking, and operating systems.

• Experience scripting processes with languages like Bash, Python, or Ruby.

• Solid understanding of Linux and networking, with the ability to troubleshoot performance and availability issues.

• Experience leading the creation and improvement of standard operational procedures.
