Role Overview
We are looking for a Global Head of Engineering to lead and scale a large global engineering organization responsible for enterprise-grade product platforms and mission-critical transaction systems.
This role will drive the overall engineering strategy, technology modernization roadmap, architecture evolution, platform scalability, and engineering excellence across global teams.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technology leader with deep product engineering DNA, strong cloud-native architecture experience, and proven success leading high-performing engineering organizations in enterprise product environments.
This is a highly strategic leadership role with significant ownership and influence on the organization’s future technology direction.
Key Responsibilities
Technology & Engineering Leadership
- Define and execute the global engineering strategy aligned with business and product goals
- Drive platform modernization, cloud transformation, and engineering innovation initiatives
- Lead architecture evolution across scalability, resiliency, security, and performance
- Establish engineering best practices across DevOps, CI/CD, automation, quality engineering, and observability

Product & Platform Engineering
- Oversee end-to-end product engineering lifecycle including architecture, development, testing, release management, and post-production support
- Build highly scalable, resilient, and high-availability enterprise platforms
- Drive engineering excellence across distributed systems and mission-critical transaction processing environments
- Evaluate and adopt modern technologies aligned to business strategy
Leadership & Organizational Scale
- Build, mentor, and lead globally distributed engineering teams
- Drive a strong culture of ownership, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Lead organizational scaling, resource planning, and leadership development initiatives
- Partner closely with Product, Architecture, Business, and Customer-facing teams
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 15+ years of engineering leadership experience within enterprise product organizations
- Proven experience managing large global engineering organizations
- Strong background in product engineering rather than delivery/services-led environments
- Experience building cloud-native SaaS platforms and distributed systems
- Strong understanding of scalable enterprise architectures and modern engineering practices
- Exposure to payments, transaction processing, banking infrastructure, or mission-critical financial platforms preferred
- Hands-on engineering leader with strong architecture and technology depth
- Strong exposure to:
