About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated App Developer to join our dynamic team at FUTO Keyboard, supporting the upcoming launch of Polycentric. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of decentralized social networking technology. The successful candidate will contribute to the development, architecture, and maintenance of Polycentric’s mobile and web applications, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience. You will collaborate with a distributed team of developers, designers, and community members to design new features, enhance existing functionalities, and optimize system performance. Your expertise will help shape the future of decentralized social platforms, making a meaningful impact on how communities connect and communicate in a censorship-resistant environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with React Native in a production environment, demonstrating the ability to develop robust cross-platform mobile applications.
• Proven track record of working autonomously within remote, asynchronous teams, managing tasks efficiently and communicating effectively across time zones.
• Strong understanding of modern application architecture, including state management and frontend design principles.
• Interest in decentralized systems, blockchain, cryptography, and emerging technologies shaping the future of online networks.
• Familiarity with cryptographic concepts such as signing, verification, and key management to ensure data security and user sovereignty.

• Experience with Rust in production systems, contributing to high-performance, secure backend components.
