Our client is seeking a Senior Marketo Specialist to join its shared services team, supporting marketing initiatives across multiple business units. This individual contributor role will serve as the subject matter expert for marketing automation and CRM strategy, leveraging Marketo to design, execute, and optimize compliant, data-driven customer journeys. Responsibilities include CRM database management, lead lifecycle optimization, campaign measurement and reporting, lead generation, and the development of personalized nurture programs across email, SMS, and web channels to drive customer engagement, conversion, and long-term loyalty.
Required skills:
- CRM Database Management: Advanced proficiency in managing, optimizing, and ensuring the integrity and legal compliance of CRM databases, including conducting regular data health assessments.
- Marketing Automation: Expertise in Marketo to design, implement, and optimize nurture flows and campaigns.
- Lead Generation Platforms: Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) platforms, including selection, implementation, and management.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to attract and convert potential customers.
- Monitor and analyze lead generation performance, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Build ABM capabilities across the team including platform selection and management.
- Drive ongoing reporting of lead funnel including actionable insights and recommendations for improvement – monthly for business units and quarterly for executive team.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Strong ability to generate actionable insights from CRM and lead funnel data, and to communicate findings through regular reporting to both business units and executive leadership.
- Customer Journey Mapping: In-depth understanding of designing, measuring, and optimizing customer journeys that align with business objectives.
- Data Privacy & Compliance: Up-to-date knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations relevant to CRM and digital marketing.
- Personalization Strategies: Knowledge of leveraging customer data to develop and implement personalized content and offers across email, SMS, and web channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Familiarity with integrating CRM strategies with web, social, PR, and creative teams to ensure cohesive customer experiences.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Strong Marketo experience, ideally certified
