Social Media Manager (Gaming)
Fully Remote
3+ months, approx. 20-25 hrs/week
Rate: $40-50/hr.
Our agency client is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team in a part-time freelance role, fully remote.
What You Will Do in This Role:
- Join a collaborative agency team managing social media for a gaming/consumer electronics brand
- Collaborate with account and creative teams on strategy and content creation
- Build content plans and campaigns supporting new product launches and ongoing efforts
- Monitor channels and respond or escalate when it's needed
Experience and Expertise:
- Minimum of 5 years managing and executing social media strategies across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Experience managing social media for top gaming, or other consumer electronics brands, or a personal interest in gaming
- Proven ability to oversee and orchestrate digital channels to ensure strategic alignment across all social platforms, both organic and paid.
- Experience developing and managing editorial calendars, collaborating with content strategists to meet daily content requirements and campaign objectives.
- Strong ability to work cross-functionally with content, creative, and delivery teams to produce brand-aligned assets that meet client goals.
- Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, algorithms, content formats, and engagement strategies for both organic and paid campaigns.
- Ability to monitor, interpret, and act on emerging social media trends, cultural moments, and platform updates to keep client strategies relevant and effective.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years in digital strategy, social media planning, brand management or CRM at an agency or other fast paced environment.
- Deep understanding of the ever-changing algorithms and best practices on TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
- Proven track record of being able translate raw platform data into actionable strategic shifts.
- History of expert-level client presentation skills and the ability to defend strategic choices to stakeholders.
