Role Overview
The QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of a suite of web applications and digital products by leading functional, regression, and exploratory testing efforts. This is a manual QA-focused position that does not require coding skills but does demand strong technical competency, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally within an agile development team.
Fully Remote (Work from Home) | 9AM - 5PM EST
Key Responsibilities
Functional, Regression, and Exploratory Testing
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across multiple web applications and products.
- Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test plans, and test suites to ensure full coverage.
- Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Validate fixes and perform re-testing to confirm defect resolution and ensure no regressions are introduced.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and designers to clarify requirements and uphold product quality standards.
- Provide clear, structured reporting on test progress, coverage, and results to relevant stakeholders.

- Assist with testing automation by helping maintain and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Bring a technical understanding of automation concepts without the need to write or modify code.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve QA processes and enhance overall product quality across the development lifecycle.
- 2+ years of experience on a QA or software testing team.
- Hands-on experience testing web applications, including UI/UX validation.
- Demonstrated ability to write and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Experience with bug-tracking tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress — coding is not required.
- Nice to have: API testing experience using tools like Postman or Insomnia.
- Nice to have: Exposure to version control systems like git/GitHub for understanding product changes.
- Nice to have: Knowledge of accessibility testing standards such as WCAG.
