Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Fully Remote | Up to £70,000 | SC Clearance Eligible Required


Tenth Revolution Group are proud to be partnering with a growing Microsoft Gold Partner as they continue to expand their cloud infrastructure and DevOps capability across a range of enterprise-scale Azure projects.


We’re looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer with strong Azure Landing Zone experience and a passion for cloud engineering, automation and infrastructure modernisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly technical consultancy environment delivering scalable, secure and high-performing Azure solutions for a broad client base.


This role is fully remote, however candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance or have previously held active SC Clearance.


The Role

You’ll play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise Azure environments, working closely with DevOps, engineering and architecture teams to deliver best-in-class cloud infrastructure solutions.

This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll contribute across cloud infrastructure, automation, security, CI/CD and platform optimisation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build and support scalable Azure infrastructure environments
  • Implement and manage Azure Landing Zones aligned to best practice frameworks
  • Configure and maintain Azure services including networking, storage, compute and identity services
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Bicep, ARM or Terraform
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or similar tooling
  • Implement secure cloud connectivity using Private Link, DNS integration and firewall technologies
  • Ensure environments meet security, governance and compliance requirements
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise Azure infrastructure performance and costs
  • Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to support application delivery and operational excellence
  • Contribute to technical documentation, standards and cloud best practices


Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong hands-on experience across Azure Infrastructure Engineering
  • Proven experience implementing Azure Landing Zones
  • Excellent understanding of Azure networking, security and governance
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep, ARM or Terraform
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Knowledge of Azure Entra ID, RBAC, Managed Identities and Conditional Access
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
  • Scripting experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash or Python
  • Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure cloud engineering
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills


Desirable

  • Microsoft Azure certifications
  • Experience within consultancy or customer-facing environments
  • Previous SC Clearance or experience working within secure/government environments
