About the Role
We’re hiring a Paid Search Specialist - Google Ads to manage campaign execution, optimization, testing, and performance across Google Ads for eCommerce clients.
You’ll work closely with our growth strategists, paid media team, creative team, and client success team to improve acquisition efficiency, scale profitable campaigns, and help clients grow through a stronger paid search strategy.
This role is best suited for someone who is hands-on inside Google Ads, highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple accounts in a fast-moving agency environment.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max
- Launch, test, and scale campaigns based on client goals and performance data
- Monitor daily pacing, budgets, CAC, MER, ROAS, CTR, CVR, CPC, AOV, and conversion volume
- Build and maintain clean campaign structures across branded, non-branded, Shopping, and PMax campaigns
- Conduct keyword research, search term analysis, and negative keyword management
- Identify wasted spend, budget misallocation, tracking issues, and scaling opportunities
- Monitor Performance Max performance, including asset groups, audience signals, product/category segmentation, and brand exclusions where applicable
- Collaborate with creative and strategy teams on landing pages, offers, messaging, and conversion opportunities
- Analyze performance trends and provide clear recommendations for optimization
- Monitor Google Ads conversion tracking, GA4 signals, Merchant Center issues, product feed health, and attribution quality
- Document meaningful changes, learnings, risks, and next steps
- Stay current on Google Ads platform updates, eCommerce best practices, and testing opportunities
- Maintain strong QA to prevent errors in campaign setup, budgets, URLs, tracking, targeting, keywords, and ad copy

What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience, ideally with eCommerce brands
- Strong understanding of Search, Shopping, and Performance Max campaigns
- Experience managing multiple ad accounts or clients at once
- Experience managing meaningful monthly ad spend, ideally $25k-$100k+/month across client accounts
- Strong understanding of eCommerce funnels, acquisition, conversion rate, and performance marketing
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret campaign data quickly
- Ability to explain what changed, why it happened, and what should happen next
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean execution
- Clear written communication with no fluff
- Ability to move quickly while maintaining accuracy
- Experience using Shopify, GA4, Google Merchant Center, Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar tools is a plus
- Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Amazon Ads, or other paid media experience is a plus
