Mendix & AI Integration Specialist

A large global organisation are seeking Mendix & AI Integration specialists to design, build, and implement a secure, GxP-compliant low-code application tailored for the Client's R&D pipeline. The core service encompasses the end-to-end development of data modeling, workflows, and user interfaces within Mendix Studio Pro, seamlessly coupled with the technical integration of Claude AI via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and secure cloud infrastructure.

This will be an initial 6-12 months+ contract with the opportunity for multiple extensions.

This position can be worked on a 100% remote basis.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement secure low-code applications using Mendix Studio Pro tailored to R&D workflows.
• Build scalable data models, workflow automations, and intuitive user interfaces aligned with business and scientific requirements.
• Integrate Claude AI capabilities via Model Context Protocol (MCP) and cloud-based AI infrastructure such as AWS Bedrock.

• Implement robust “human-in-the-loop” review and approval mechanisms for AI-generated outputs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, scientists, compliance teams, and technical architects to gather and refine requirements.
• Proven experience developing enterprise applications using Mendix Studio Pro.
• Strong understanding of AI/LLM integration patterns and APIs.
• Experience integrating AI services such as Claude AI, AWS Bedrock, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or comparable AI orchestration frameworks.
• Mendix certifications (Intermediate, Advanced, or Expert) is a plus
