Senior QA Automation Engineer – Federal/Government Healthcare

Contract to Hire

MUST work on W2 basis only

Candidates MUST have prior experience working with Federal/Government Healthcare organizations or healthcare programs such as: CMS, Medicaid, Medicare, MMIS, MES, HHS, State Medicaid agencies, TRICARE, or other public-sector healthcare environments.

We are seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in federal/government healthcare projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Selenium automation, API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies in Agile environments.

5+ years of QA Automation experience on complex web applications

Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Java or Python

Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks (POM/Data-Driven)

API/Web Services testing experience using REST APIs and Postman

Strong SQL and backend/ETL validation skills

Experience with AWS, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

Agile/Scrum experience

Experience with defect tracking and test management tools

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts

Perform UI, API, database, and backend testing

Execute automated tests through CI/CD pipelines

Collaborate with Development, DevOps, and Cloud teams

Create test plans, test cases, and automation documentation

Support UAT, defect management, and release testing

Mentor junior QA team members

Experience in Healthcare or Government Healthcare domain

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
